Ceylon smile housing initiative

Dehiattakandiya, Ampara district

The Ceylon Smile Housing Initiative by Nearth is a transformative project aimed at constructing 10 safe, durable, and cost-effective homes for vulnerable families in Dehiattakandiya, within Sri Lanka’s Ampara District. Ampara is one of the country’s most socioeconomically disadvantaged regions, with over 70% of its population considered multidimensionally vulnerable. Through community collaboration and targeted donor funding, this initiative will provide more than just housing—it will restore dignity, stability, and opportunity to families long deprived of basic human needs.

Join us in the journey to empower communities, protect nature, and create a healthier, more just world for future generations.
